We are a Grace-based and Spirit-filled ministry in the Dallas Texas area.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production and a minor in Psychology. For 15 years, he served in the Christian television production industry behind the scenes. In 2011, Mark obtained a diploma in Pastoral Ministry from Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has ministered extensively in numerous jails and prisons as a Volunteer Chaplain in Oklahoma and Texas, as well as serving on a church staff as an Outreach Pastor.
In 2014, Mark met the love of his life Liz Tennen, and they married within the same year. Together, they began ministering at Joe Kegans Jail in downtown Houston. Mark and Liz also led a home fellowship in the Houston area. Liz is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Texas, making a tremendous impact with children.
They moved to the Dallas area in 2019, to partner with local ministries in the area. They are currently co-leading a home fellowship. Mark is employed at a large company that provides services for the stock market, while Liz is a counselor at a local private practice.
Mark grew up attending church, but thought God was angry, distant and difficult to please. Eventually, shame and condemnation began to rule his life. Mark was desperately looking for unconditional love, acceptance and identity. For many years Mark lived a self destructive 'party' lifestyle, where he was trying to hide from God and cover up his shame. He eventually hit rock bottom and had a powerful encounter with a loving Father. He was totally set free from the unhealthy lifestyle through that miraculous experience. Mark came home to where he had always belonged, Father's House!
Father began to reveal Marks value and sonship in Him. He discovered he did not have to earn God's acceptance, but that he was already fully accepted in the beloved and totally forgiven, as it says in Romans..."You did not receive the 'spirit of religious duty', leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the 'Spirit of full acceptance', enfolding you into the family of God" (Romans 8:15 Passion Translation). Mark realized he was not a sinner in the eyes of his Father, but his identity is the very righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). He came to understand that he was a New Creation, that the old life of sin and death had passed away and all things were made new (2 Cor. 5:17)!
God doesn't have love, He is Love! If you have seen me, you have seen the Father, Jesus proclaimed! If we want to know what
God is like, just simply look at Jesus and the life he lived. There is no hidden side of God that Jesus did not reveal. A great Scottish
theologian once said, "There is no God except the God who has
come and met us in Jesus". We must realize that Jesus did not come to appease an angry God, but to reveal Him as he really is...GOD IS LOVE (1 John 4:8)! John declares Jesus' mission clearly in the first chapter of his gospel...'No man has ever seen God at any time except the only unique Son, who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].' (John 1:18 Amplified, also see Hebrews 1:3, Colossians 1:15, & John
14:7-9).
The Father, in Christ, through the Spirit, came to free us from the
oppression of the unholy trinity...sin, death and satan...for 'God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him' (Acts 10:38). He came to emancipate all of creation into the 'glorious liberty of the children of God' (Romans 8:21). Jesus came to establish the Kingdom of God on the earth and empower humanity to be who God originally intended them to be. His goal was to not just give us a ticket to go to heaven when we die, but that heaven would be manifest on earth through our lives!
