Mark is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production and a minor in Psychology. For nearly 15 years, he served in the Christian television production industry behind the camera producing compelling tv programs, while also serving as a leader in recovery ministry. For many years Mark shared his testimony of God's healing power at youth group homes, Juvenile hall, treatment centers, and hospitals.
In 2011, Mark obtained a diploma in Pastoral Ministry from an international accredited bible college in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While still in school he began to minister extensively in jails and prisons throughout Oklahoma as a Volunteer Chaplain. Post graduation Mark served on a local church staff as Outreach Pastor and Technical Director. During this time Mark developed his own ministry, teaching weekly at The Refinery, in his home, and at the Tulsa county jail.
In 2014, Father called Mark back to his hometown of Houston, where he immediately met the love of his life Elizabeth Tennen. They quickly realized it was His will, marrying within the same year. Together, they began ministering at Joe Kegans Jail in downtown Houston, while also leading a home fellowship and recovery ministry at a local church. Mark also assisted a ministry in forming and launching an online seminary.
While in Houston, Liz became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Texas, and is now making a tremendous impact with both youth and adults at a local private practice. Prior to her career change, she was a full-time Missionary for 10 years with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU).
After another nudge from the Father, Mark and Liz moved to the Dallas area in 2019, to partner with local ministries and pursue other career goals. For a time they served in a nearby 'healing rooms' ministry. They are now leading a home fellowship and are connected with other home gatherings throughout DFW. Mark is also partnering with a local prison ministry to continue the vision the Lord placed in his heart during his time in Tulsa.
While still in Houston, Father gave Mark a vision of a new career in corporate America, after much prayer and counsel. He stepped into that vision not long after moving to DFW. After a couple contract positions, Mark is now a full time employee for a very important financial institution that provides processing and clearing services for the stock market.

Mark grew up attending church, but concluded that God was angry, distant and difficult to please. He felt he could not measure up to the expectations placed upon his life. After making poor choices to change the way he felt, shame and condemnation began to rule his life. Mark was desperately looking for love, acceptance and identity. For many years Mark lived a self destructive party lifestyle, where he was trying to hide from God and cover up his shame.
He eventually hit rock bottom and came to his senses. He had a prodigal moment, a powerful encounter with the loving Father that revealed his Sonship and acceptance in Him as a beloved child. Mark had returned home to where he had always belonged, the Father's House! He was delivered from the unhealthy lifestyle through that experience and also benefited from a local recovery fellowship.
Father continued to reveal Marks beloved identity. He discovered he did not have to earn God's acceptance, but that he was already fully accepted, as it says in Romans..."You did not receive the 'spirit of religious duty', leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the 'Spirit of full acceptance', enfolding you into the family of God" (Romans 8:15 Passion Translation).
Mark realized he was not a sinner in the eyes of his Father, but his identity is the very righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). He came to understand that he was in a New Creation, that the old life of sin and death had passed away and all things had been made new in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17)!

God doesn't have love, He is Love! If you have seen me, you have seen the Father, Jesus proclaimed. If we want to know what
God is like, simply look to Jesus and the life he lived. There is no hidden side of God that Jesus did not reveal. A great Scottish
theologian once said, "There is no God except the God who has
come and met us in Jesus".
We must realize that Jesus did not come to appease an angry God, but to reveal Him as he truly is...GOD IS LOVE (1 John 4:8)! John declares Jesus' mission clearly in the first chapter of his gospel...'No man has ever seen God at any time except the only unique Son, who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].' (John 1:18 Amplified, see also Hebrews 1:3, Colossians 1:15, & John 14:7-9).
The Trinity came to free us from the oppression of the unholy trinity...sin, death and satan...for 'God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him' (Acts 10:38). He came to emancipate all of creation into the 'glorious liberty of the children of God' (Romans 8:21).
Jesus came to establish the Kingdom of God on the earth and empower humanity to be who the Father originally intended them to be. His goal was not to just give humanity a ticket to heaven when they die, but that heaven would be manifest on earth through our lives!
